Helicopter operaion

After the devastation of Cyclone Idai, we sent five of our Bell 407s and a 430 to Zimbabwe and Mozambique to assist, where possible, with the relief efforts.
During the operations, our pilots received the following letters [pictures in post which put everything in perspective. From all the staff at NAC Heliops, we can say it was our privilege to play a part in providing assistance to those who have lost so much in this disaster. We also commend all other individuals and institutions involved in the effective and immediate response following this cyclone.

The letter reads:
Allow me to express my sincere gratitude to all the NGOs, the Red Cross Society of Zimbabwe, the Z.N.A., the Z.R.P. and other unidentified individuals and institutions for
kindly extending a helping and in the Chimanimani disaster which has shattered our Nation.

I am a villager residing in a local village called Nyamusundu where almost every house was either knocked down or driven away by the terrific wind and downpour that I have
also witnessed and experienced. On behalf of all the poor villagers staying around, I give “THANKS” to “YOU ALL” for the charitable good works that “YOU” have all undertaken in the merciful rescue for our poor Chimanimani.

May God bless you!
