Universal Air Evac crew prepared for anything
As the premier African-based air ambulance operator, Universal Air Evac spares no expense when it comes to ensuring the safety of its passengers and crew. Its air ambulance services consistently meet the highest quality standards, including BARS Gold and Eurami accreditation.
To make sure its flight crews are prepared for virtually every eventuality, Universal Air Evac sends all of its flight crews to FlightSafety International, based in Atlanta, USA, during January and February to conduct their annual recurrent simulator training. FlightSafety International is the world’s leading aviation training provider and offers the most advanced training devices and flight simulators to commercial, government and military organisations worldwide.
During their time at FlightSafety International’s training facility at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, captains and co-pilots were paired for a training programme that consisted of three days of ground school and three intense simulator sessions that were focused specifically on emergency situations.
